Drillable Bridge Plugs and Cement Retainers
MAP Completion Tech’s drillable products are bridge plugs and cement retainers that set securely in casing and are designed to be drilled out after use. The range covers cast iron bridge plugs, cast iron cement retainers and composite products.
Bridge plugs isolate zones for temporary or permanent plugging and abandonment: the compact Shield WBP top-set bridge plug, the Shield PBP wireline and mechanical set bridge plug, the Shield ERBP extra-range bridge plug that runs through tubing, the Shield HMBP hydro-mechanical bridge plug and the SCBP composite bridge plug.
Cement retainers are used for secondary cementing operations: the Shield PCRW wireline-set cement retainer, the Shield PCRM mechanical-set cement retainer, the SCCR semi-composite cement retainer and the SH-CCRW fully composite cement retainer. Cast Iron Bridge Plugs
SHIELD WBP TOP SET
Model WBP is compact, small OD and designed as a high-performance drillable bridge plug suitable for almost any temporary or permanent plugging operation. The plug is constructed from select materials which provide a combination of strength and drill ability.
SHIELD PBP
Model PBPW Wireline Set and PBPM Mechanical Set Bridge Plugs are used to isolate zones for temporary or permanent abandonment. These drillable Bridge Plugs set securely in all standard hardness casing. A ratchet lock ring stores the setting force in the Bridge Plug. It can be converted to Cement Retainer by changing out the guide and replacing the bridging plug with the correct valve assembly.
SHIELD ERBP
Extra Range Wireline Set Bridge Plugs are specially designed to run through tubing or restricted pipe and set securely in larger tubing or casing below.

SHIELD HMBP
Hydro-Mechanical Bridge Plug is a hydraulically actuated, mechanically set bridge plug that is designed for easy drill out. It can be used in zonal isolation for squeeze cementing, fracturing, and plug and abandonment applications.
SHIELD PCRW
Model PCRW Wireline Set Sleeve Valve Cement Retainers are used for secondary cementing operations. These drillable retainers set securely in all standard hardness casing. A ratchet lock ring stores the setting force in the retainer.
SHIELD PCRM
The Model PCRM Tubing Set Sleeve Valve Cement Retainers are used for secondary cementing operations. These drillable retainers set securely in any hardness casing.
Composites
SCCR SEMI-COMPOSITE RETAINER
provides a cost-effective alternative as a dependable tubing or wireline set drillable retainer. The composite material allows for quicker drill times, less drill bit wear, and less formation damage. One-piece heat-treated slips provide secure setting.
SCBP COMPOSITE BRIDGE PLUG
Model SCBP Composite Bridge Plugs are used for temporary or permanent isolation of oil, gas and water, such as zone isolation, formation fracturing and acidizing. These easy drillable bridge plugs can be used for multi-zone fracturing, so it is an especially good choice for shale gas exploration.
FULLY COMPOSITE CEMENT RETAINER
The Model SH-CCRW is a quick drill / millable fully composite cement retainer primarily used for secondary cementing operations.
