SX & SXN Landing Nipple

The “SX” Nipple offers an expanded versatility to downhole selection. Any desired number of “SX” Nipple can be placed in the production string, thereby offering an unlimited number of positions for setting and locking surface control devices. May be used as seating nipple in the following applications: blanking plugs to shut in well or test the production tubing. Velocity type safety valves. Equalizing check valves. Chokes to reduce surface flowing pressures. Instrument hangers with geophysical devices such as pressure and temperature recorders.

The “SXN” Nipple is designed for use in single nipple installations or as the bottom nipple when placed in a series of type “SX” landing nipples. “SXN” Nipple can be used in the above applications as “SX”, except that, it has restricted “ No-Go” I.D.
