SRTS Service Packer

SRTS Retrievable Casing Packers are full opening, compression set packers that are applicable for a wide variety of well treating and producing installations. These packers are used when high differential pressure f rom below the packer is anticipated and utilizes hydraulically actuated Hold Down Pistons to anchor the packer against upward movement. The full-opening feature permits large volumes of fluid to be pumped with a minimal pressure drop and allows the passage of a through-tubing perforating gun. These features help make the tool useful for multiple operations, such as perforating, testing, treating, squeezing, and reperforating, with one trip in the hole. Generally, it is necessary to run the RSTS Packer with a Circulating Valve assembly. It is also recommended, but optional, to include a safety joint in the string.

• Three-piece packing element system with metal backups accommodates low- and high-pressure applications for the broadest range of service
• Surface controlled combination bypass and equalizing valve
• Straight pickup of the tubing will release the packer and automatically engage the packer in the running position for further operations up or down the hole
• Automatic Jay Unit, setting the packer is accomplished by running to depth; picking up a few feet rotating 2/3 turns to the right and setting down
• Parts are interchangeable with other manufacturers
