SH-SST Retrievable Packer

The SH-SST Storm Packer is a heavy-duty, three-quarter-turn, compression-set, retrievable service packer capable of holding differential pressure from above or below. The packer has a heavy-wall mandrel with tool joint connections that allow it to be set shallow, with the drill-string suspended below. When run in conjunction with a back check valve system, the SH-SST packer secures the well during weather-related emergencies or wellhead repair. The packer can also be used for conventional service work such as acidizing, fracturing, squeeze cementing, and casing tests.
