SESV-Storm Valve

Storm Valve is a heavy-duty positive wellbore shut off device designed to be run in conjunction with the SH-CSTX Storm Packers. The Storm Valve allows the Storm Packer to be set and then permit disconnection and retrieval of the drill pipe or tubing and the upper sub of the valve, while at the same time automatically closing the Storm Valve, isolating the drill pipe below the Storm Packer.

• J-Type 1/4 turn disconnect – automatic re-latch overshot
• Fast acting valve mechanism opens/closes with 2 turns of rotation
• Bearing assembly allows valve operation with running string in compression
• Unique valve drive mechanism eliminates jamming in either direction
• Tool length does not change as valve is opened or closed
• Expendable plug may be pumped out to allow access through valve I.D.
• Optional profile in slick joint permits use of wireline set plugs
• 3 1⁄2” & 4 1⁄2” IF Tool Joint connections available
